a letter from the writer

Assalamu alaykum, traveller.

My name is hidden between these pages on purpose — I want this place to feel like one heart talking to another, not a brand speaking at you. But I should tell you a little.

I am a Muslim woman who reads slowly, makes too many cups of tea, and has been collecting verses, scholars, and small kindnesses for as long as I can remember. This blog is where I paste them in.

I do not write often. When I do, it is because something actually moved me — a verse I could not put down, a sister who said something true, a stranger who reminded me Allah sees.
